The Vocals were tracked today for the first time. The deadline is next week to have the demo mixed, mastered, and done. We’ll be working hard until then. We’ll have tracks up in no time here. We will finally be able to show all the hard work off. Those of you reading this, stop by and check it out.
Mixing is going well. We’ve had assistance from Ben over at Hope College, and Prof. John Erskine with the process. Thanks to them for the help, and knowledge. Rob, Scott, and Sang are the main men through this, I (Tabor), and Josh are stepping back to let them work out the mix. We decided that that’s the best decision for the sake of experience and speed. Scott is getting his feet wet learning from everyone else, and applying what he knows to the work. This is great for all of us. Vocals are next in line, so I am putting a promo release at about two more weeks, should the recording for vocals work out as we hope.
Those of you keeping up only have a bit longer to wait.
Shows are also offically scheduled and will be posted pronto.

Well. 13 hours in the studio at the Chapel, including tear down and moving the equipment back to our practice location has us all beat tonight. The tracks for everything but vocals are done. Mixing is next week, and then vocals will come after that. Demo stuff is nearly completed. Shows are being lined up this week for July and August this summer, and more will be scheduled as well.

Recording setup has been achieved. We are getting together at 10 tomorrow at the Chapel location mentioned in yesterdays post.
The goal is the demo completion. After that, it should only be a matter of mixing before it’s ready for audio posts and promo demo.
Shows will be booked and posted soon as well. Check in often so you can be the first to know about them, and spread the word!
Much love,
EA
Okay, so we dove into the studio yesterday and got drums and Tabor’s guitar set up and sounding awesome. I think it’s going to turn out great. The chapel where we are recording is amazing. Nice big rooms full of reverb and small rooms as well. It’s quite the experience recording here. Much thanks go out to Ben and Carter who are helping us make all of this happen. They really know their stuff and we are so excited. Pics and music coming very soon…
-Rob
So we finally have posted some pics of who we are. We head over to the studio for setup friday night. I’m excited. Anyone with me???

We got together again today, sans Tabor (guitar) and Scott (drums), to work with Sang on the bass. Next weekend, recording! The plan is to get the EP done without the vocals on location, and then record the vocals ourselves.
Today went so well. We worked out the kinks on a song, and the story for the album is in a period of writing. Sang and I (Tabor) are working closely to make sure it turns out. We’ll be together again on Saturday, and are trying to work out times next week. We are hoping for three more practices before the scheduled studio time. Spread the word. Tell people to add us. We want everyone to know when we post our first song.

I like my bacon tasty.

So, turns out the working employees of the studio at Hope College will be gone this weekend. The recording has been moved to next weekend, but we got together today, and will tomorrow and Saturday as well. The new shit is tasty, like bacon! ;)
I cannot back up the last post more on agreement with Rob. We are all so excited to show people what we’ve got.
Show us some love on the page! Let us know you are checking it out, and want to see us. We’d love to see it. We’ll be on top of posting shows, as soon as we get one booked.
